Nicole, We reviewed our records regarding our customer’s issues. Here is what we discovered: 1. Our customer requested an insurance policy for one of his properties. As part of that request, our customer signed the Insurance Application
and asked that put in force that policy2. Subsequently, our customer identified an alternative carrier with lower rates and requested that Keller National cancel his original policy at the inception date. Keller National requested that our customer execute the required standard Policy Cancellation form3. Keller National received this signed cancellation authorization on 8/4/2015. This request was forwarded to Travelers Insurance for processing4. The Cancellation request was forwarded again to Traveler’s Insurance on 8/17/for processing5. Our customer contacted Keller National on 9/22/indicating that he received an invoice from Travelers Insurance for his policy. The Cancellation requests was again forwarded to Travel’s Insurance to confirm the cancellation 6. Our customer contacted Keller National again on 12/23/indicating that he receive another invoice from Travelers Insurance for the cancelled policy. We contacted Travelers Insurance and were notified that they had no records in their system for the cancellation request. The cancellation form was again sent to Travelers Insurance for processing. Travelers then requested additional information from our customer to backdate the cancellation to the original cancellation date. Travelers did not received a response to that request7. Our customer contacted Keller National again on 1/29/indicating that he received a collections notice from Travelers Insurance8. Keller National, recognizing that this was not our customer’s issue agreed to satisfy our customer’s outstanding Travelers Insurance balance. Keller National will work independently with Travelers to resolve the processing errors in the cancellation request. Our customer’s outstanding account balance is now satisfied Ted K***
