Keith's Painting

Review: Over four years ago Keith's Painting stained my deck and two porches. He stated that his work was guaranteed, any issues would be corrected. After the jobs were completed, it was clear that the stain did not take properly. He stated that he would be back to correct the work....which to this day has never been done. I have a phone message dating back to October 20th 2010 at 12:13 pm....stating he would be over the following week to fix the work. Never showed. Every year I continue to call...and every year it's one excuse or another. In addition, he has my patio door grills, which were to be stained. I have requested on multiple occasions....to just drop them off, they are worth approximately $200. He won't even bring the grills back. A business should stand by their word or refund monies paid, as now I have to hire someone else to do it. At a minimum, he should return merchandise that I already paid for or reimburse me so I can purchase a new one. I have been more than patient....I think four years of calls is a little excessive!Desired Settlement: I wanted the work to be corrected, but clearly that is not going to happen. I now have to hire someone as I am having an event at my home in several weeks. I should be reimbursed some type of compensation, since the work was supposed to be "guaranteed". In addition, I should have my patio door grills returned....and if he is no longer in possession, I should be reimbursed so I can purchase new ones.
