I was told by Dr. [redacted] receptionist that my routine checkup was covered under my insurance plan. It was not, [redacted] was no longer in my network
I scheduled a routine checkup as a new patient with Dr [redacted] on May 17, 2013. I was told prior to the checkup by Dr [redacted] assistant that he accepted my dental insurance and the checkup would fall within my plan. I was even told this again when they ask me about x-rays. When I received my bill for $[redacted] I contacted Dr. [redacted] office that he accepted my insurance but was no longer in my network. Therefore I had to pay out of network fees. I contacted Dr. [redacted] office on August 6 and was told that it was too bad. My account # is [redacted].
