KDub Photography

Review: [redacted] (KDub Photography) accepted payment for a job she did not have the skills to complete. As agreed on in her contract, I should have received a CD of images she took within 30 days of the event. However, the event was 6 months ago and I still have not received the images on CD, which I paid for in full. Over two months after the event, [redacted] (KDub Photography) emailed me some of the images after I began contacting her via phone and her website regularly. I told her it wasn't acceptable and that she still needed to send me the CD I paid for and she agreed but did not follow through. While reviewing the emailed images, I was extremely disappointed in the quality of work. Her response to this was, "There is nothing I can do." The images are blown out, taken at severe angles, edited poorly and do not show any of the sunset of the sunset beach wedding she was hired to capture. After consulting with a professional photographer about the images, it was brought to my attention that [redacted] (KDub Photography) simply doesn't have the understanding of photography needed to complete the job she accepted. It is clear that not only did [redacted] (KDub Photography) not have the technical knowledge needed to capture what I clearly told her I required prior to the event but she also has no intention of completing her contract. She no longer responds to my correspondence.Desired Settlement: As stated in the KDub Photography contract, I am requesting a refund in the amount paid for services ($500).
