demanding a refund. Staff explained that our policy, which is stated on our website, is that we do not offer refunds but instead issue rainchecks. The customer refused the raincheck and became very vulgar to our staff and stated that he would just dispute the charge on his credit card and left. He gave no explanation as to why he did not show up for his reservation. A response to his credit card dispute was sent on 7/19/2016. As I stated, our business was open and ready to provide the services paid for at the time reserved but the customer did not show up. We incurred labor cost of staff coming in early to fulfill this reservation and the customer never contacted us to let us know he was not coming. We were open and provided services to over 100 other customers that day and none of them experienced situations of danger. As for weather, there were no tornado warnings that day and the Current River was not flooding in any way. If conditions were like what was described in the complaint then we would not have been open for business. I do not feel that we had an obligation to offer a raincheck in this situation, but when it was offered to the customer for the full amount of the charge while he was in our store, he refused it. I have spoken to my staff and none of them recall having any conversation with the customer since the day of his inappropriate behavior in our store 7/4/2016.
