Please see attached. After receiving the complaint filed by MrR***, I spoke to our Manager, James about the incident, as our reputation for customer serviceand satisfaction is of utmost importance to us a company.James said that the lopper in question had been misused,and badly abused
The blades were indented
from cutting into some material hard enough to chip or indent the steel cutting blades, and the blades
were twisted apart from excessive leverage as if they had been used to try to rip or pull something
apartThe metal handles were also bent out of shape These loppers are a top of the line model, and designed to cut up to 2in thick wooden branches, which they will do very easilyI personally have a set and have cut even larger than inch branches with no problemsHis claim of the damage from occurring from cutting inch thick WOOD branches is not realistic.MrR***'s claim that he received poor customer care from both the cashier and the Manager is hard to
believe as well. The cashier involved is one of our best, and James explained that the misuse of the
product was not a valid rreason for a return, and the customer became abusive.The loppers were not used in the manner they are designed for, and misappliedWe honorour manufacturers warranties, and honor returns on defective merchandise gladly, but not when it has obviously been misused The damage to the loppers
were not due to poor quality, or a manufacturing defect, hut by how they were used once they left the store We do not offer refuods or cover warranties for products damaged by intentional misuse
