The soffit in question is not manufactured anymore We cannot replace it with the same material In the event we COULD replace it, the cost would not be $1, So, withholding $1,for this scope of work is excessive, not to mention the fact that it is not part of the contract We have tried to resolve this matter by making multiple trips to the property at our cost and without benefit At the end of the day, the soffit repair/replacement in question is not our contractual obligation or responsibility We have a contract in place which has been completed in full, and we expect full payment In summary:We cannot replace the soffit with the same materialThe soffit replacement is not our contractual responsibilityThe contract we have in place has been completed in fullWithholding payment in full will result in legal action against the property owner
