I paid close to $6k for a cash car from K B in April, as is, no warranty. The second day I had the car I ended up broke down in my job parking lot. The battery had to be replaced that time. Only a week later I again ended up broke down at the job, this time the starter had to be replaced. This past Friday I again found myself broken down. This time the issue is the transmission. I haven't had this car but 4 months and now I'm having to debate should I repair or replace it, and this is after spending my entire savings to purchase the car in the first place.
