Karol's Cleaning Service

Review: Karol's Cleaners was hired to clean my house for $250. The floors are dark wood and relatively new. They must have left a mop bucket on the floor, which caused scratching and gouges in the floor that are very noticeable and not present prior. They also dinged up our coffee table, taking a chunk out of the table. The coffee table was also only a few months old, and my best guess was that the struck the table with their vaccum cleaner. Beyond the damages caused, they left dust on the base boards, and did not do a very thorough job cleaning. When questioned on these items, the owner stated that he noticed that our floors were very scratched up to begin with. I assured him that I would notice big scratches in my almost new floor. I also explained the dinged up coffee table, which he said could not have occurred from them. I told him the damages are noticeable, and as neat homeowners, who just built a new house, we notice blatant damages. He did not offer any suggestions other than he could try to fix the damages himself, which I'm obviously uncomfortable with, and it does not sound like he has any experience in that regard.Desired Settlement: $250 is a lot of money to pay for cleaning not performed well, and for property damage. I'm seeking a full refund of $250 from the company.
