Mr [redacted] called into our office on 3/17/to sign up for our serviceHe spoke with a customer service representative to sign up for lawn care, our service is a step program and were offering a special of 50% off the first and last application, at the time of the conversation the customer is made aware that in order to receive the 50/special it is for the full step program, Mr [redacted] also signed up for Flea and Tick applications in addition to the lawn programWe are not sure where the confusion came in but when Mr [redacted] received his confirmation letter he felt this was too much money and we pulled a bait and switch on him at this time he demanded we send his check back to him and we told him we would send it back as soon as we received it in the officeThe check was an electronic check requested from the bank so it can take up to weeks for us to receive the check in our office by mail from the bankMr [redacted] ’s check was sent back the day we received it he was not charged anything and no services were rendered we canceled out his account and sent back check like he requested.Thank you Kapps Green Lawn

Thank you for giving us a chance to respond through the B.B.B.I have reviewed Ms***’s account and would like to review the timeline of events as we have them recorded:Ms [redacted] signed up for service on 4/21/and the first application of the season was applied on 4/24/17.5/18/The second application and free iron was applied with no complaint of service6/6/we received payment for the first two applications6/14/we applied the third application with no complaint of service.7/6/we received a call from Ms [redacted] regarding a concern of pkly weeds growing on the lawn.7/7/I came out inspected and sprayed the lawn for thistle and other weeds in response to the call 7/6/17.7/11/we received a payment for the third application.7/13/we applied the fourth application with no complaint of service8/23/we applied the fifth application with no complaint of service 9/5/we left a message on Ms***’s voicemail to call our office regarding her acct.9/8/we received Ms***’s payment for the forth application that contained a note that stated “I want all remaining services cancelled effective 8/4/7/Thank you”, we cancelled services that day.10/6/we left a message on Ms***’s voicemail to call our office regarding her acct.10/26/we received letter from Ms [redacted] which stated:" To the owner of Kapp’s Green Lawn, I signed up for your service for the seasonI am extremely disappointed with the level of service receivedI observed one of your technicians get out of his vehicle, stand in my backyard, make two quick sprays and promptly leaveThe invoice he left on my front door certainly did not match the three minutes he stood in my yard and looked aroundFor this reason, I do not feel that I owe Kapp’s Green Lawn any more moneyThe $I pay is certainly not worth the level of service provided, I will not be a return customerSincerely [redacted] "I must apologize for the slow response to her letter of 10/26/17, however Ms [redacted] never notified us of her concern prior to 10/26/ I’m sure that Ms [redacted] observation is just a misunderstanding and as such, I wish she had contacted me sooner I could have met with her immediately after aforementioned observation in her letter of 10/26/to go over the lawn.Based on our time line and documentation, I do not see merit in crediting her balance, but I am willing to split the final balance of $equally to resolve the matter, and would like to meet with Ms [redacted] in the spring to go over the lawn

Have received check for $from Kapp's Lawn[redacted]

Dear [redacted] In response to complaint ID of [redacted] On 09/01/I was in receipt of a complaint initiated by Mr.At that time, I printed out a service order for my service manager to check for signs of the application being doneIt ts customary to wait a few extra days to insure weeds could have enough time to show signs of decline, from being sprayedThis has been proven to be the best and easiest way to tellFertilizer is not always easy to tell depending on the lawnAt times motorized equipment is used , which in turn, makes tire tracks easy to seeThis was not the case with this particular application, as using a push spreader tends to leave much smaller tine tracks.My service manager visited the property on 09/07/2016, and noticed weeds dying in the back yardMy Service Manager then returned the order to me to follow up with Mr later that dayI was unable to make contact the same day, but planned a follow up call the very next dayOn 09/08/I was informed Mrcalled the office threatening ’'if we ever step foot on his lawn again he doesn't know what he will do," At that point I informed my office to credit the application and considered the matter closed.I would love, and encourage an opportunity to meet directly with Mr to discuss his lawn and how we can resolve any outstanding issuesAs he stated we've serviced his lawn for years with no issuesThis is an unusual occurrence.Thank You,Scott M [redacted] Branch Manager

In response to the response by kapps lawn Your response says a manager was out on 9-7- I was home all day and no one knocked at my door or tried to call me anytime that day I can assure you that no attempt was made to call me as my number is my cell phone and I would have had a missed call In addition, you stated that weeds were dying in the back yard If you review my account you'll note the my application was for the front and side yards It has been like that for three yearsThe back yard has never been part of my plan so i'm not sure why the service manage was looking in my back yard You also stated that I called and said "if we ever step foot on his lawn again he doesn't know what he will do" I called and stated that I would call the police if you step foot on my lawn after It was clear to me that you were not going to respond to my calls and could care less that you billed me for a service that you did not perform There is a big difference in those statements I don"t appreciate the libelous statement by this company I accept the cancelation of my account and credit for the last bill Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted]

We cancelled Mr [redacted] ’s account on 5/03/after he had received two applications from us.A credit was issued on 5/4/which credited part of the balanceAfter further review we have credited remaining balance, so Mr [redacted] has a zero balanceHe will receive no more statements or calls from our company regarding this balanceTell us why here
