Very unprofessional experience. Over priced for the services provided. Refund policy is not flexible. The company kept $3500 total for two in-home sessions and six group classes after a life-changing medical emergency.

We have been working with K9 games for over 10 years and absolutely love them. I would not have any other group train my dogs. We have had 3 dogs trained for either therapy dog training or service dog training and the staff is both professional and loving towards our pets. The best part is that we get to be included in training and can visit any time! Our dogs get praised all the time and we are asked where do we get our dogs trained. I would 100% recommend this business. Kristi and Jen are fantastic and at this point like family! We LOVE k9 Games!

My name is Katie Wheat and I'm writing this recommendation for Kristi and the K9 team.

We are delighted to have worked with Kristi in training our new four-legged son, Duke. We were new “puppy parents” and unprepared to meet the needs of a 12-week old, very smart, German Shepherd pup. Kristi met with us in our home to personally explain her training expertise and the teaching strategies we could expect for the comprehensive boot camp for Duke. Although we have heard of Kristi for many years and her incredible training abilities, we hadn’t yet worked with her. We soon learned why she is the best in the world and well-respected as the leader in her field. Our Veterinarian, Dr. Teri Wiblin had often spoke of Kristi’s exceptional training knowledge. Knowing our Vet, we were confident in reaching out to Kristi and she only further solidified our decision to train with K9.

Kristi trained our Duke and cared for him in her home for three weeks. She also includes weeks of personal training for us, as well as unlimited group training sessions to continue fostering those important skills she wisely taught our Duke. We visited our boy weekly in her beautiful home and training home – and we witnessed several four-legged kids who were also healthy and thriving in this warm teaching environment. She also generously shared pictures, videos and personal updates through the course of Duke’s training.

Kristi has by far exceeded our expectations. Truly, she has made our newest member of our family productive, confident and healthy.

We have witnessed the generosity, wisdom, professionalism and loving care from this special group. She is also a generous thought leader in professional training of therapy dogs, special training dogs and other highly skilled training services. Kristi is also a generous philanthropist as she has donated countless hours of training to several worthy causes to enhance the quality of life for both humans and their canine companions.

I hired a dog training company and paid $2761 for training plus $261 for the collar. The trainer came for a 2 hour session . In less than 24 hours , I decided I could not bear my puppy being trained by a shock collar method and informed k9 games that I cannot use their services. I had already given them checks totaling $2761. The contract states that the puppy would be entitled to unlimited private and group lessons for
It’s life. The dog is 7 months old. I mailed back the shock collar which was unused. The company sent me a refund for $1522. Therefore they charged me $1239 for a 2 hour session and a round trip travel time of 3 hours. (They charged me the full hourly rate for travel time ) $250/hour as they stated was the trainer fee. It also does not take 2.5 hours to get from Scottsdale (AZ) to Peoria (AZ) , therefore they overcharged me for that time as well. If the contract was for unlimited private lessons at $259/hour foemthe life of the dog , say 26 lessons a year , the contract would have been over $100k. I sent a letter to the owner saying that they charged me $1239 for their services of 2 hours and travel which is highway robbery. This is an unethical company and I should have been refunded at least $2100 at the minimum.

I feel so fortunate to have found Kristi at K-9 Games! I had been searching for a trainer for my dog to preform service dog duties and thankfully I found K-9 Games. At my first consultation I knew immediately that my dog was going to be in very capable and loving hands. Kristi and all the K-9 Games staff are so caring and attentive to all the dogs. They spend quality time training and socializing with the dogs. You can tell by the wag of the tails that they all love their time at “camp”.
It’s been only a few weeks since my dog returned from service dog training, but I can say it has been a complete transformation! He preforms his service tasks with joy! He is quiet and obedient in all situations! People everywhere constantly comment how well trained and attentive he is. Having my best friend as my service companion has changed my life! I am able to go anywhere with confidence now!

The attention to detail and hard work this group puts in behind training every dog, with different situations, to help better people's lives is remarkable. I went to various training facilities to take my pup to, but after meeting Kristi and her team there was a hands down decision that I HAD to come to K9-Games. Will definitely come back in the future.

The staff at K9 games are wonderful and top notch! I was approved by the VA to have a service animal and choose to go with K9 games to have my dog trained. The training K9 games provide are outstanding. My dog is so well behaved in public, I have people approach me expressing how great my dog is in public. We recently took a trip across the US and my dog did amazing through the airport security and the plane ride. If it wasn’t for K9 games I would not have known how to properly take care of a service animal nor the responsibility my animal has for me. They offer tons of classes for free to help you maintain obedience so your dog never reverts back to its old ways. K9 games has become my second family and I can’t express my thanks for allowing me to enjoy my obedient dog!!!

K9 Games has changed our lives! Boot camp for Harley & Honey have turned them into amazing pets. I love getting compliments about how well behaved our dogs are! Such loving staff cared for them and ongoing education has been great. Honey is a service dog and has given my daughter her life back. We are so blessed we found them!

We took our 9 week old pup, Brodie, to Kristi and Jenn @ K9-Games for the main reason of, we haven’t had a “puppy” in 25 years and didn’t have a clue about how to train her. After interviewing Kristi and visa-versa, collectively we decided it would be best for our mini Bernedoodle to get off to a great start with these fantastic trainers. Brodie was enrolled in the 5 week “Puppy Boot Camp” at K9-Games. We visited every week and were amazed at her progress each time we saw her. We know in our hearts, we could never have had the same results had we tried to “book” train this pup. She is the BEST puppy! We get compliments often on how well behaved and how smart she is. We are so grateful to Kristi, Jenn and the entire team. We are getting a sister for Brodie in the first quarter of 2019 and she too, will be heading to K9-Games.

I love K-9 Games! Kristi and her staff are very knowledgeable and have worked wonders with my crazy, strong and spastic puppy! The classes are great and both dog and owner get trained. With the help of K-9 Games, we are now in control of our puppy, instead of him being in control of us.

The staff and programs at K-9 Games are TOP Notch. I have sent 2 puppies (lab & Lab/Dan Mix) thru there program. I live in a home with several small children and knew I wanted the right training and support for the new members of our family. I would not hesitate to use them again (and just may very soon) as we add to our furry family. The patient loving attention they give to both their furry and human clients is above and beyond.

K9 Games is outstanding and I can't recommend them highly enough. They have worked with both of my four legged family members. They are also working with the owner (me) because I'm the one that really needs the training! Kristi and her team are experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and love their pups. My dogs have trained with them and board there, and they are the best. The dogs love it so much that they hate to come home. We have been thrilled with the results we received from Kristi. We rescued (okay, they rescued us) two Labradoodles five years ago. Without Kristi and her teaching/guidance, we would not have been able to keep them. While they were (are) wonderful dogs, they were totally out of control when it came to being able to walk them. I have known the owner of K-9 Games for 17 years and have observed her training techniques for the same amount of time. The quality, professionalism and kindness exudes in the way she treats her animals and her clients animals is what is the most noteworthy. I can not say enough good things about Kristie and her team. I have a 2 year old Doberman, K-9 games started in home training with him at 8 weeks until he had all his shots. We then joined group classes at different locations in our area. Almost immediately my boy was sitting, placing and following basic commands. His first summer, Kristie came to our home and taught him how to swim (Dobermans are not natural swimmers) and made sure he knew where to enter and exit the pool. I have 1 very well behaved boy, who is happy, socialized and I can take anywhere. I have kenneled him at K-9 games numerous times and he always comes home happy, clean and exhausted due to playtime and the socialization he gets there. Any behavior issue we had, Kristie was helpful and provided remedial one on one training. Additionally, the facility is extremely clean and Well maintained.

We love working with Kristi and her team at K9-Games! She has helped us to train two diabetic alert dogs. Kristi is very patient, knowledgeable and has trained many different kinds of service dogs as well as pets. She keeps us up to date on what is required for service dog skills and behavior. Her training methods are simple and easy to follow and group classes are always fun! All of our dogs, service dogs or pets, will always have training with K9-Games! You will never regret having a well behaved canine companion. Worth every penny!
