We spoke to Mr*** regarding his experience with the K*** radar/laser detector. Because he had the system hardwired into his vehicle, we informed him
that power/ground issues could affect the performance of any electronics. We urged him to return to *** *** *** to have them relocate the ground and to call our 24/technical support line when he was there so that our technician could help to diagnose the issue. We then contacted *** *** *** to make them aware of Mr*** complaint, and asked them to contact us when the vehicle was there so that we could get our tech on the line. Kalso told Mr*** that if the product was shown to be defective, we would replace it at no charge. His requests for a complete refund of product costs and labor should be directed to the retailer he purchased it from. As the manufacturer of the products, we have no direct sales with consumers, nor do we provide installations. Radar has poor range. It is not as good as advertised. The radar is subpar for its price. I expect a full refund including install fees.
