I have been a member of this fitness program for almost 2 years now. It was a great program. The work outs were great, the community was great. The problem was when I went to cancel my membership. They went MIA. No one has responded to my varies attempts to cancel, facebook, email, phone, in person, etc. I have been trying for oer a month. They are still charging me every two weeks. Reading reviews, it seems like this is their thing. They make it nearly impossible to cancel a membership. It's pure fraud. DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. There are many other amazing activites in this city you can do. Do not give a cent to these people. They are sweet to your face, and a**holes behind your back.

K2XFIT Kanata offered a "free" 6-week program in summer 2019. The bootcamp costs $500, however, if you meet the weightloss goals they set out for you (plus fulfill a number of other requirements such as leave positive reviews, etc), you are entitled to receive a full refund of the payment cost. I have a copy of the signed contract stating as such. I completed the bootcamp on September 9th and met my goal, and my paperwork was all approved. I was then informed I would receive my refund in the form of a cheque, not a refund to my credit card. I have been following up with the three trainers at the gym regularly since September.Initially I was told the cheque "should be ready any day now", however, now my messages receive no response at all. I no longer live in Ottawa, and even had a friend go to the gym to see if it was there with no luck. I would like my money returned as soon as possible, as it's now been almost 6 months.

Signed up for the "Free" Bootcamp which they were offering. It turns out the camp wasn't actually free you had to pay a fee upfront and upon successful completion of the class you were promised a refund. But you also were required all over your social media that you were attending the classes. I signed up on in June paid *** on June 19th the *** one of the trainers for the bootcamp. Shortly after I had a death in my family with the funeral on July 6th. I attended the weigh in on July 7 I was weighed but I did not participate in any of the other activities On July 11th I reached out to *** and informed that due to the mental state I was in due to passing of my loved one that I would not be attending any of the classes and requested. I received no response. I reached out to her again on July 27th and she responded and offered me credit towards more classes at the gym. I informed her I was not interested in that option and wanted a refund. Again I received no answer. I reached out again August 12th and was told the owners were out of country on vacation and they would return at the end of August and I would be given an answer. Well the end of August came and I never heard anything. I reached out to *** again September 4th and received no answer yet all the messages have been read. I decided to reach out to the company directly on Sept 6th and September 9th and have gotten an automated response but yet again all the messages have been viewed.
