He built a fence for us. A very good job. I was quite impressed with his attention to detail and his care to do as little damage as possible.
We have had a defect with regards to work done in our kitchen. We have been contacting this company since March-2018, it is now the middle of August-2018. I had responses that they would come and fix this issue, but then the communication stopped. They haven't responded to me in 2.5 months to come and fix a problem, that could be taken care of vary easy. It's not a major problem, but it needs to be addressed and I was told they would warranty their work, but apparently don't want to now, as they ignore all my texts.
Product_Or_Service: Contracting
Repair I want this repaired, or send me a refund, and I'll pay someone else to repair the issue.
Customer satisfaction is an important part of my business. All materials and workmanship in this renovation where to industry standards or better and have not failed. The areas in question are the plaster areas that where compromised prior to work commencing. Any one with an old plaster home will testify that you can patch a crack or defect and there are no guarantees that it wont re present itself. This was expressed to the home owner at the time of repairs. Never the less upon learning of the problem I Agreed to try to correct it.
The home owner expressed that there is no rush and that it can be done at my convenience. We corresponded through text message until I received text messages that I considered less then professional to which I didn't respond.
I still have every intention of repairing the problem that I agreed to do. There was no contract on this project that spelled out any kind of warranty or period of correction for the work preformed. We Simply had an agreement that I would try to resolve what may possibly be a recurring problem for this home. That's not to say that if it or something else appears in another year or two that I should be held responsible for an old houses problems. 70 year old plaster ceilings are beyond my control.
That said, seeing as there is no rush or time that is convenient for both parties to gain entry into the home to do the work. Perhaps we can take advantage of the Revdex.com's services to try to schedule a time that the work can be addressed.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I did tell this person, it was not a huge rush. That was back in March. I expected this to be fixed within a reasonable time. It's now 5 1/2 months. That is not a reasonable time. Not to mention that they have not given me any time table to fix this problem. Non of my texts to him were bad. After his last text where he asked when would be a good time (that was end of May) or would you like to hide a key, I said, sure I'll hide a key let me know when you are coming. He said ok, I'll keep you posted. Then July 16th a full month and a half later I sent him this text "????" to find out when, since you hadn't responded. Then after a week, I send him another text saying "I've been asking since March now, you can not honestly tell me there hasn't been time to come fix this yet? Then a week later, another text I sent "I still haven't heard anything?", followed by one last text a week after that saying "Hello?". Non of these texts are bad. He chose to ignore all of these, and never respond with an answer. So I had to take this further. He can say there is no contract, as he didn't sign anything. But I asked before he took the job and he said yes, I warranty my work. I took him for his word. He also agreed to fix this, but has not done anything to fix this. We are 5 1/2 months since this started. I may have said I wasn't in a rush, but that time frame is bad. Especially since I have contacted him several times, with an easy solution for him to come, even if we were not there. I will not be satisfied with this company until they honor their commitment and fix this issue. The company did also not tell me that the hole they were fixing was a risk to crack. There was no crack there in the first place. It was a previous hole from a light fixture. The ceiling has not cracked from this, the tape from the patchwork looks like it has lifted. It does not look like a normal crack in a wall patch. They only told me about a wall problem where they put new drywall up to the plaster, that could be an issue. I don't have any issues there.
Please feel free to Phone during business hours to schedule a time to do the work. You can also email if you prefer, These are both legitimate ways of contacting a business. We look forward to hearing from you.
This business needs to contact me to get the repairs corrected. I have contacted them in the past and received no response. When they contact me and come fix this issue then I will be satisfied. Until then, I am not satisfied.
