Just Clean

I paid for snow removal services with *** and his company Just Clean. He took $1000 total of my money and has never delievered a single snow removal service to either of my properties.
In November 2017, when we first met to discuss services *** indicated that in order to guarantee my snow removal service placement, I was required to pay $500 immediately through their online invoice and system. On Nov. 8, 2017. I processed a payment through their app and paid the $500 invoice on my ***
*** then came back to me and indicated that they couldn't use the app for payment and that I would get that $500 refunded to my *** within a week. He said I was still required to pay him $500 in order to secure my place and there were only 3 spots left.
After a failed e-transfer attempt, on Nov. 9 he sent a young woman named *** to my house to pick up a cheque for $500. This cheque was processed by our bank on Nov. 14.
Since November I have had ongoing conversations with *** about my $500 refund from *** which has never happened. He's continued to say it was coming and then that he would pay me.
In addition to this, there has never been a single snow removal service done at either of my properties that I have paid and contracted for. I've actually had to go out and contract a new service and pay again for services as Just Clean has taken $1000 from me and performed no snow removal service to date.
*** has promised to refund me the entire $1,000 owing for lack of services. To date he has refunded me $80 of the $1000. Therefore the balance owing is $920.
I have all email and text message exchanges with this conversation, as well as *** and cheque receipts to verify.
This guy and his company are *** and need to be investigated asap as I am sure they have done the same to others.
