Dear Sir or Madam:I first reviewed this complaint on 9/8/15 and immediately sent an email to the client, [redacted], explaining that I was in Chicago at the time and flying back home that day. I asked her to let me know when a good time to have a phone conference later in the week. As of...
9/11/15, I had not received a response. In the afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m., I called and left a message with the client. She called me back approximately 5 minutes later and we discussed the situation. I explained that her case is taking longer to conclude because although we have received her settlement check, her total medical expenses that she needs to repay before she receives her net settlement actually exceed the gross settlement. Due to the amounts involved, we have to spend more time negotiating with the doctors. In addition, several doctors have not returned our repeated phone calls to resolve their bills. She was and is understandably frustrated and she is in tremendous pain, but we agreed to follow up the following week by Wednesday, September 17.If you need additional information, please let me know.[redacted]
