I gave it 1 Star because I had a great day with my granddaughters, otherwise maybe no Stars. First adults should not be charged as there is nothing for us. These animations are not good. All stationary with limited movement. Many of the things to do for kids come at an additional charge of $5 to $10 after paying $29 for your child to get in and $24 for you to get in and get a metal folding chair to watch, maybe. In the end, would I spend the money again? Yes, but I have it and it was for a day with my granddaughters. Don't do it if you are on a tight budget. Go to McDonalds playland.
The website tells you over 50 dinasaurs will be there roaming around and that a petting zoo will be there for the kids , there was not the exhibits they had were around thirty and they were old and had broken mechanisms sticking thru the rubber some of them were completely broken and none of them were roaming , I called the very minute we got in there and demanded a full refund of my 140 dollars and they told no refunds I asked them where the roaming dinasaurs were and he told me one would come out at noon , we waited to see it and it was a guy holding a puppet and that was it. This is a scam and it should be shut down , I cannot believe that such a thing can happen. I am asking the Revdex.com to read the advertisement and have someone go to the so called exhibit . They will see this scam firsthand.
My family and I went to visit your "Jurassic Adventure" this evening in Phoenix, Arizona. It was not in any way the type of experience you advertise on your website. The main exhibit falls short as to the real life experience when some of the dinosaurs are coming apart and your quote on quote "dinosaur band" is louder than the dinosaurs themselves. You state that you have cute baby dinosaurs (plural) we saw one the whole time as well as the young t-Rex that walks around was not anywhere to be found. Your dinosaur band was obnoxiously loud and looked like they have had there last days. The only activity (included in the price of admission) was the fossil dig and something that had to do with balloons. The bounce houses looked nothing like the one advertised but that was the only entertainment as everything else was 5$ on top of the ridiculous amount we had to pay to enter. Your Dino theater consisted of fold-able chairs and a low quality projector screen that was no bigger than 50 inch tv. No face painter was on site and the atv rides were a slow speed power wheeler not for anyone over the age of 4. The staff were severely unhappy and even expressed that they themselves would not bring their own families to this event. Some even stated they had just learned the night before that the event was taking place and was a last minute job opportunity. No one smiled or greeted the kids with excitement. The manager overlooking the event (David) was not on the grounds when I requested to speak with him instead (Daniel) claiming to be his assistant informed me if I had an issue to write an email and or call the phone number on the web site. Once I spotted David I confronted him respectfully informing him of my concerns and he stated the same as Daniel did for me to contact and or email. Overall this event was an overpriced mistake and my family was let down tremendously of the quality that was expected.
I went to the exhibit on Sep. 29, 2019 at Clark County Fairgrounds with my son and my boyfriend.
I have never been more disappointed on a purchase. This exhibit is a joke for the amount of money it costs.
Some reasons for my statement:
-Broken displays. I have attached a picture of one, but there are multiple dinos on display that are broken.
-Website advertises that there are "Dinosar babies" with which kids can interact. We were not offered this opportunity.
-Website advertises that there are walking Dinosaurs, which would be another interactive part of the exhibit. Again, we were not offered an opportunity to see or be approached by any...?
-Website captions a photo: "Our exhibit include hands on interaction with these enormous Dinosaurs." The Dinosaur in the photo that corresponds is one of the dinosaurs that is included in the exhibit where there is fencing with signs attached that read something along the lines of 'Do not touch displays.' NONE of the enormous Dinosaurs were able to be touched, meaning the exhibit DOES NOT 'include hands on interaction with these enormous Dinosaurs.'
-"We also provide plenty of chairs for tired parents!" This quote is posted along with bouncy house info. There was one chair, and that was for the one person 'working' while manning the three bouncy houses.
-"Tracey (a young t-rex)" is supposed to welcome guests. That didn't happen.
-Basketball and darts are advertised as games... The "darts" is a big blown up Target with Velcro. The ONE dart provided has the "soft side" of Velcro that's supposed to stick to the target. It's so worn out, it doesn't even stick. Is it that costly or difficult to replace the dart or the Velcro on the dart?!
-This is supposed to be an educational exhibit. "Learn how Dinosuars lived, what they ate and how they survived on planet Earth." Within the small dinosaur display, there were three placards of information on dinosaurs. There were other different Dinos without corresponding info; that was disappointing.
-Everything was fairly dirty, specifically the bouncy houses. They look as if they never get wiped down. For the price of the tickets, I expect more in that regard.
-Military discounts only apply to one ticket per ID; that's honestly abismal.
Not ironically, the things that ARE there and functioning are the extras that require money. ($10 for a ride on a big dinosaur- the ride is much like the penny pony rides that used to be available to ride in grocery stores, but the dinosaur moves LESS.)
We expected a bigger, more interactive exhibit for the price we paid, especially because of the FALSE ADVERTISING.
I strongly advise no one to attend this. Find a better dinosaur exhibit near you!
This exhibit is a SCAM. False advertising and so expensive. I went on September 29, 2019 to Clark County Fairgrounds.
They have two websites that redirect to one; they go by Jurassic Tour and Jurassic Adventure.
At least 50% of what's advertised on their website is FALSE. They have broken dinosaurs and they promise interactive displays, such as baby dinos to pet and walking dinosaurs (none to be found). They refuse to respond to emails and complaints. They even banned me from their page for writing a negative review on Facebook. They want to hide and cover all the scamming possible.
We finish the exhibit in 20 minutes. The bouncy houses were filthy. The whole thing was barely interactive. I could spend the same money at an amusement park and be entertained all day long, where this exhibit just drains the money. It's sad that they continue to get away with this.
On their Facebook page, they promise all these amazing things. Rides for children which is why the child is so much more than an adult, dinosaurs that walk around. None of that was there. I "Won" my own ticket so I thought it would be fun to take my husband and my daughter who is 3 years old. When we first arrived we the first thing we saw was two customers leaving and warning us about it. We thought nothing of it and continued on when we entered the building at around 3:30 pm Saturday, September 28th, we came across dinosaur robots that were falling apart, wires were all over the place and poorly hidden, nobody provided a "tour" that I had paid 53 dollars for when we go to the "rides" there was a ten dollar charge for less than a minute ride another ten dollar charge for a child to get their face painted I basically paid entry to shop at their store. There was no A/C going and the weather was well over 80 degrees. When I had gotten the ticket which was five dollars and proceeded to go to the ride the women had stopped me and said "It's ten dollars not five sorry." and we had already been waiting in line for over 10 minutes so when I turned to go get another ticket the women had yelled at my three-year-old to stand by the pole and hold on to it otherwise she wouldn't be allowed to ride the ride so my daughter was terrified to let go of the pole and my husband stood by her the whole time. We didn't even want to stay there after that, the bounce houses weren't being watched there were no seats for parents who wanted to sit down. I spent over 63 dollars there to leave in less than 40 minutes and when I posted on their Facebook which is the only other way to contact them, about my displeasure they blocked me from their page and deleted the comments. This whole thing is a huge scam they know it is and that's why I had three other people comment on their facebook to see what they would do and the same thing three times I have the proof that they know this is an ongoing problem and they choose to ignore it they need to be shut down because they are scamming people out of their money.
I was one of their "Winners" and I still got ripped off who lets kids play in a place without any running a/c knowing they will be running around? I paid to walk around and look at robots that were falling apart, My daughter was yelled at for their mistakes and forced to stand by the ride or she wouldn't be "Allowed" to ride the ride that I PAID 10 DOLLARS FOR MIND YOU. I feel like I should have just rented a bounce house I would have invested the same amount and at least I could bring my own drinks biggest Scam ever.
Attended on September 15, 2019 for $106.00 ($26/per adult & $31 per child). They had perhaps 10% of what they advertised as attractions and that was not clean. There were no educational guides, no dinosaurs walking around, no activities other than a few bouncy houses and two small sand box type digs. The dinosaur band was not working. There was no show. There was no concessions. The few rides were there, at an additional cost of course, dinosaurs that literally rocked back and forth for 1 minutes at a cost of $5 or $10 a ride. Animatronics were okay but not the 50% as advertised. There was a large area of toys to purchase. Face painting cost $10 for less than a 4 inch dinosaur on the cheek. False advertising at it's finest. I cannot believe that nothing has been done and this business is still in operation.
Attended their event in Grand Rapids, MI on Aug, 3 2019. Paid total of $155.00 for 4 adults and 1 child. They did not have anywhere near the activities they advertised. (they would not even permit us to take a quick peek prior to purchasing tickets). Virtually nothing to do with exception of bouncy houses and animatronics, and even those were not the 50+ as advertised. I have contacted them via their website as well as direct email and standard email requesting a full refund since it is nothing short of false advertising. No response.
Attended on August 3, 2019 for $155.00 ($25/per adult & $30 per child). They would not permit us to peek inside prior to purchasing tickets and now I realize why. They had perhaps 10% of what they advertised as attractions. There were no educational guides, no dinosaurs walking around, no activities other than a few bouncy houses and two small sand box type digs. The few rides were there, at an additional cost of course, dinosaurs that literally rocked back and forth for 1 minutes at a cost of $5 or $10 a ride. Animatronics were okay but not the 50% as advertised. There was a large area of toys to purchase. False advertising at it's finest. I cannot believe that nothing has been done and this business is still in operation. It is up to a consumer if they wish to pay the admission cost however, we have NO choice if we are misled and lied to about the event itself. Save your money and the disappointment your child will experience.
This doesn't even get 1 star with me. My husband and I took our son this past Saturday to the Benton Convention Center in Winston Salem, NC and it was beyond horrible. We paid $80 to get in the door ($30 for a child and $25 for each adult). My first clue should have been watching a little boy come out with his mom and he'd already broken his (cheap) toy they bought, not to mention I wondered why people weren't staying all day at what was supposed to be an awesome place for kids. We basically watched our son play in bounce houses for 1 hour, and that hour was a stretch. Everything else was an additional charge once you got in the door; rides took tickets that were $5 each. The dinosaur rides barely moved (you get more ride out of the ones at a grocery store for a quarter), the "theater" was a small tv with chairs in front of it, and the "fossil dig" was nothing more than a sandbox with a dinosaur in it. This is definitely a SCAM in every sense of the word and was not at all how it was advertised on TV. We even talked to another parent in there who went out and complained and was given 6 additional ride tickets. So I thought I'd do the same. When I complained and told the guy it was not worth the $80 I just spend, we weren't offered a thing but he did put his hands up and smiled and said, "Sorry. If you have a question or refund question, please email this address right here (pointing to the sign that read, "All Sales Final. No Refunds.") Hmm, wonder why it says that?? They know they are scamming you!!
On March 23,2019 I attended "My Jurassic Adventure" held at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The event lacked a lot of what was advertised on the radio and online. Their website and radio advertisement stated "A massive display of 50 dinosaurs" along with "moving, breathing, walking dinosaurs." "Kids can interact and pet the baby dinosaurs." "Our exhibit includes hands on interaction with the enormous dinosaurs.""Bungee Runs where kids go head to head to see who is faster than a T-Rex.
Their number of displayed dinosaurs was approximately 26, not one of them were walking. All dinosaurs were behind an orange fence which did not allow the kids to interact with the dinosaurs. There were no baby dinosaurs that came out for the kids to pet and interact with. "Tracy" never arrived at 6pm like our website states. The Bungee Run did not exist nor did the T-Rex, rather they had a bungee game that was for adults. My kids were being choked by the vest they had to wear in order to play. I can provide photos if needed.
I spoke to the person in charge of the event "Steve" and he informed me that I would need to send and email to the owners. I sent an email on March 26, 2019. With no response from them I am filing a complain and request for refund.
I paid $30 dollars a child and $25 dollars for me. I have four(4) children.
Jurassic Tours advertise this event and does not deliver. They charge 30 dollars per person for a event that is horrible.
The whole experience sucked. My family of 3 paid 30 dollars each just to enter and we were done in less than an hour. This company scams you with a TV ad that hypes this event up. Each additional attraction costs 5 to 10 dollars more. The jumpers were dirty, cheap and too many people and too little jumpers.
This is a RIP off, they get you in, and milk you for money.
The Jurassic Tour exhibit is a scam. This company is charging $28 per child and $23 per adult to enter. There is absolutely no reason the adults should have to pay, or even the children for that matter. They advertise many free activities, but most of the activities you had to pay for in addition to the entrance fee. The "free" activities were in extremely poor shape and not as advertised. They advertised 50 realistic and life-sized dinosaurs. There were not 50, the dinosaurs had missing teeth and were falling apart, they had the area dimly lit so you could not see the dilapidated display and inaccurate signs and information displayed. They advertise a museum-quality exhibit. This exhibit cannot even be called and "exhibit", much less "museum quality." Their dart wall does not work, their velcro wall/suit did not work and was very dirty. Their basketball hoop had two deflated basketballs and the bounce houses were falling apart. My 4-year old daughter was jumping in one of the small bounce houses while the employee was holding a gaping hole shut so kids would not fall out. This "attraction" was in a mostly empty warehouse with many safety issues and nothing to offer. In addition to all of this, there were people advertising and selling shows/gift cards, and what I believe are other marketing scams, after you pay admission and enter. I do not understand how they have continued business for so long. Had we known what was behind those doors we would have never paid to go in. Their website looks professional and they even have a mission statement that is pure lies. They are a for-profit company preying on people. The phone number on their website has no professional answering service, and the call goes to a full voicemail inbox. This company needs to be stopped.
My child is a huge fan of Dinosaurs so when he saw the commercial for
the Jurassic Tour, needless to say, he was ecstatic!
When we walked in, we were extremely disappointed. For starters, It
was much smaller of an event than we had expected. The building
itself was in terrible shape. I believe prior to this event it was a
department store. There was debris and trash all over the place. It
appeared to be from the store closing. The disappointment 1st came to
my child when he asked where the walking dinosaurs were. This was
advertised on tv as well as the website. When I asked the gentleman
working about this, he acted as if he had no idea what I was talking
about. It was also advertised that there would be rides. There were
4 mechanical dinosaurs that the kids could sit on for a few minutes.
We had to purchase additional tickets to ride the ride. It was
implied that the whole family was able to enjoy the whole experience
with the entry fee but that was not the case. The only thing included
was the jumping castles, the blow up basketball shoot and the target
that didn't have anything to throw at it. All of the signs that were
used were covered in tape and pieced together so it was hard to read.
Most things were written on a piece of paper that was torn out of a
spiral notebook. The bathrooms were filthy. The toilets were broke,
trash everywhere, feces and urine on the floor and in the toilets. It
was so bad that we actually had to leave the Jurassic Tour, go to a
different location to use the bathroom, and then return to the event
because we physically couldn't use the facilities. There was no baby
dinosaurs to interact with. The website said there was T-Rex and 50
more. There were no where near that many dinosaurs. There was 1 that
was broken so bad that its neck was just hanging there. It was not
educational as advertised. We didn't try the virtual reality
dinosaurs because again we had to purchase additional tickets. We
were really looking forward to an exciting Jurassic Tour experience.
Our expectations of Jurassic Tour were high due to the advertisement
on tv as well as the advertisement on your website, However, they were
not met. In fact we were extremely disappointed.
E-Mail sent to Jurassic Tour
My family of five - 2 adults ages 40 and 41 and 3 sons ages 12, 7, 3 drove 40 miles to be fleeced and disappointed. We arrived at the Fresno Fair Grounds at 10:15 on 21 Jan 2019. What we saw there was nothing like what was advertised on the television and your website. First of all, to say your dinosaurs are "museum" quality is absurd. There was absolutely no interaction with ANY of the dinosaurs, let alone "baby dinosaurs" that the "trainers" will let kids pet while being educated. The rides were unsafe, with young children riding around on motorized vehicles with no safety equipment. Unsanitary conditions where children are made to use headgear shared by other patrons without being disinfected between uses. Games that did not even function such as the giant velcro target where kids threw a ball and it would not stick. There were no baby dinosaurs to ride, the 15 foot animatronic T Rex & Triceratops did not even move. Staff encouraged children to participate in activities even though they were to young for the recommended age that was stated on the posted signs. We were not the only disappointed people at the event. We spoke with one lady and her family who could not believe they paid over $100 dollars as we did for such a disappointment. The fact that you have the audacity to charge more for children than adults is disturbing because you then charge for tickets for children to ride rides that were unsafe and not fun. The Jurassic Tour did anything but put "a smile on your child's face" like you claim in your mission statement. There were no smiles on my children faces. I would like a full refund for admission to this disappointing "jurassic tour". I wish we could be reimbursed for our time and fuel, however I know that is unlikely to happen.
Over priced for what it is. Understaffed broken machines. For a family of 4 to pay $110 and be able to walk through the tour in under 5min is a shame. There price gouges the customer and the advertising conned us into believing that the exhibits walk. If you like I could send pictures of this joke.
This was the worst decision I’ve made as a parent. Drove from forest grove (1 hour), paid $51 to get in for one adult and a child, and was greeted with a decrepit building that smelled of cigarettes and mold and a bathroom that I wouldn’t let my 4 year old use. I saw a local reporter walk out of the women’s bathroom in awe. I was the second one in the door today and we lasted 30 min. Everything was dingy/dirty and literally there were 4 bounce houses that were free. The rest were
Broken or not even there. They advertise 50 dinosaurs, baby dinosaurs, trainers and interactions with dinosaurs but not a single thing was there. Maybe 15-20 dinosaurs total and the rides were broken, disgusting or both. $10 to ride a mechanical T. rex that only rocked back and forth 6 inches. I was so disappointed and my son left upset and sad. It’s one thing to charge a fee for service but to charge parents $24 to just stand there is criminal and feels like stealing. The first thing I noticed on arrival was a big sign that said “all sales final”. I should have known but we drove a long ways. So sad and disappointing. Ruined my sons day.
The Jurassic Tour came to Westminster Colorado the weekend of 12/16/2018. We bought 4 tickets that advertised an amazing experience to see moving Dinosaurs and tons of fun activities for children. This was such a disappointing experience and after 20 minutes both my children were crying out of disappointment. The tickets cost over $100 and we were done in 10 minutes seeing the dinosaurs. Some of them were motion activated, and many were broken. The brontosaurus’ head was hanging at a 90 degree angle because it was broken. Half of the signs explaining the Dinosaur in front of you weren’t lit and it was too dark to see what they said. One of the T-Rex’s jaw looked like it was hanging by a thread and didn’t function properly. Then after seeing maybe 20-30 dinosaurs and talking trees. That was it. Basically everything else cost more money! $5 per ticket. And many of the “rides” were 2 tickets needed. We did not see face painting, the movie was impossible to watch and enjoy due to terrible placement and you couldn’t hear it. The guy who walked around with a baby dinosaurs in a box took great pleasure in scaring my 3 year old twice! There were 3 bounce houses that were run down and filthy. We should have realized when signs everywhere were written in hand writing on paper, and about 10 at the front that said- NO REFUNDS.
This was completely false advertising. Broken equipment, not what they said would be there! We feel Ripped off, disappointed, and waste of our time. Don’t believe what they claim to be! This is worse then a side road circus!
