July 21, 2014Dear Sir or Madam,We take these accusation very seriously as it will compromise our outstanding reputation for almost years by unhappy patrons due to no fault of our own, Our [redacted] deal ran from Dec 18, to Jan 18, 2013, with months expiration limit we go with [redacted] policy, we have no ability to scan expired voucher (clearly says Expires months from Purchase), this claim simply unfair as we adhere by all rolls and regulations 100%, On the other hand, customer can call [redacted] and refund the purchase amount as curtesy, we have no way of doing that one voucher expired as it will disappear from our data baseIf any misunderstandings please call [redacted] or email [redacted] Respectfully,Joe A

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The attachment the businessman provided is for a deal with [redacted] from 2013. I purchased my voucher on 1/21/2014. The fine print on my deal said it wouldn't expire until July 7/21/2014. I tried to use the voucher on 7/17/2014, a Thursday (they don't accept the voucher on weekends) .
I did receive a refund from [redacted], but the business may continue to mislead its customers. It seems they only set up the [redacted] deal to bring in customers. Then they refuse to honor the deal. Actually their response, including the wrong information, leaves me even more suspicious.
Regards,
[redacted]
Review: The diner refused to honor an [redacted] Local coupon I purchased. I paid $10 for a $10 voucher. So I would receive $20 off the bill when I redeemed the voucher. The staff said their computer no longer accepted the vouchers. I said they could enter it as a gift card or other transaction. There are ways for companies to resolve issues like this. They claimed the general manager was not in so they couldn't. At first I just thought this was incompetence or bad customer service until I read another review from 5 months ago. Since that review was from so long ago, I wonder if they never intended to honor the vouchers. I saw another review that claimed the wait staff tried to steal his change. If the business is using dishonest practices, I like you to look into that. I've already settled the financial issue with [redacted] Local and received a refund. I don't want the diner to continue these dishonest practices though.Desired Settlement: The diner stops cheating customers.
