Review: I purchased a Super Angel 5500 juicer from Juice Master in May 2012. I started having problems with the juice around November or December 2013. The juicer was not juicing as it normally did in that the juice kept on overflowing from the feeding [redacted]te so the juice time took about four times longer than it did before and the pulp was much wetter than before. I had to wait for the juice to drain from the feeding [redacted]te before each feed to juice. I emailed the manufacturer and the manufacturer responded by saying that I needed to wash the unit after each use. The fact is that I religiously washed the unit after each and every use. I tried several more emails but the manufacturer never did respond. I contacted Juicemaster around March 2014 and several months of back and forth they told me that they would refund me the entire amount because they no longer sell the unit and that I should ship back the entire unit to their CA office. I shipped my unit back and was told subsequently that I will not receive a refund but that they will fix it instead. I was [redacted]oyed and frustrated because I went out and purchased another juicer thinking that a refund was forthcoming. However, that was not the case. I waited patiently for Juicemaster to fix my unit. After about a month passed since they had possession of my unit they called and told me that they replaced the grinding gears and that the unit was tested and is now in working condition. I received my unit last week (August 12th) and tried to juice as I normally would. The juicer is still defective. The problem with the overflow never did get fixed. Had someone at Juicemaster tested the juicer by trying to juice as one would they would have seen that the juicer is not functioning as it should. It appears to me that someone must have turned on the machine and when they heard the machine turned on they assumed that it was working. The unit costs approx.$1,000 so to have it break down in about 1 and 1/2 year is unreasonable.Desired Settlement: The desire settlement can either be a refund ( I would entertain partial refund), replacement or fix the unit to get it operating as it should.
