I ordered food from this restaurant and 30 minutes later received another customers order. When I returned home realized it was not what I had ordered (1 pc catfish/6 pc plain wings with Goldie sauce on the side and fries with no salt). I called right away to inform them and was told I would receive a replacement order as I was unable to eat what was given to me (10 pc spicy wings and fries). I have never been able to eat anything spicy and don't plan to especially since I have stomach and esophagus issues. The young lady took my name and said when ever I come back to let them know. Since it was a weekend and they are closed on Mondays, I didn't think it was a big deal. In the meantime I broke my foot and hadn't been unable to drive. I called today (8-1-2020) to get my replacement order. The young lady (a different one I presume) informed me of the policy, they give 24 hrs for replacements and the food to be returned as well as if I knew who I had spoken to. Like the initial phone call with the wrong order, she didn't provide her name just like the person who took my name at that time. She asked what I ordered and would call the manager and call me back after taking my name and number. I waited 40 minutes and called back since I hadn't heard anything. The same person told me that since the time had lapsed that I was basically out of luck since it was passed the 24 hr period and I no longer had the food, which I had to throw away. I asked how could I have called since they would have been closed on a Monday? I was told I could call back when the manager was in as if people have money to waste during this pandemic. I paid about $15 for food I didn't get or could not eat. What happened to customer accommodation? Lots of businesses have closed during these times. I have patronized both of their locations up until now. Service like this makes you not want to go back.
Customer is able to come in at anytime to get her replacement. Business apologizes and will make sure to retrain employees.
This is resolved.
