This is in response to a letter received by JR's Bar & Grill at 808 Pacific St. in Houston, TX  77006 (complaint ID [redacted]).  We have previously submitted a copy of the receipt, along with the email below.
We then received a response from the customer, indicating that he was not pleased with the outcome.
I have spoken with Charles A[redacted], President and CEO of JR's Bar & Grill.
Normally, in this situation, we would ask for the customer to produce his own receipt, since the receipt (signed by the customer) that we have indicates the facts, as follows:
Drinks purchased - $18.00
Tip paid - $9.00
Total paid - $27.00
Despite the fact that the customer has not been able to produce his own receipt, Mr. A[redacted] has decided to offer to the customer to reimburse him for the $9.00 tip that the customer claims was never paid.
He also encourages the customer to always keep a copy of his receipt in these situations, so that he has proof to back up his claims.
We will leave an envelope with the $9.00 in it for the customer to pick up at JR's Bar & Grill at 808 Pacific St. in Houston, TX  77006 - the envelope will have his name on it, [redacted]
