J&R Moving Labors

I am a disabled military retiree. I reserved a 26 foot *** online. *** website asks if you need help moving and directs you to the *** website and gives you companies to pick from. This was my first time using this service and I scheduled 3 movers/3 hours, $270, from J&R Moving Labors LLC. I received a text from *** confirming payment, my name, scheduled move date, and job number. Unbeknownst to me, the pay code is not proof of payment but instead the code you give the company once services have been rendered. I text back and forth w/the company and when it was time for move day, they did not show. I contacted *** customer service and they told me the company took the money 3 days prior and marked the move as complete. I was out $270, had to take my *** back and reschedule for 2 days later, find and pay for a new moving company, and had to pay to spend 2 nights in a hotel since my whole place was packed up. This company is a scam!
