In December of 2017 we ordered a cap, gown, and tassel from Jostens office in Grand Junction Colorado. Surprised to find out that we were being charged $66 dollars when in the school meeting we were told it was $40. Rick the representative stated that it was because of taxes ( I’m still trying to wrap my head around how there is $21 added for taxes when the sales tax is not 50%). That being said, sounds scandalous.
My husband had accidentally said the wrong school, so I thought maybe that’s why it was $21 extra. So the same day we ordered it both my husband and I called Rick numerous times to correct our mistake. The next day came and we continued to call, leaving a voicemail every time. By 2 pm we had not received a return call so we called the 1-800 number. The lady found the order and stated she would get it fixed. A couple of days later she called me back leaving a voicemail stating it was all taken care of.
The week before graduation in May of 2018, several months later, my daughters school calls me stating my daughters gown was not delivered. I immediately called the local Jostens office to find out what was happening. The receptionist that answered the phone could not find the order, Rick was there with her because she consulted what to do with him. He stated we need to bring in the receipt from December to prove we ordered it since they so no order in their records. I called the 1-800 number and a lady found the order under my husbands email address, with notes that in December Rick was contacted and he stated he would take care of it. The lady organized the order being sent in two days. We received the order two days before graduation. I thought Rick had made a mistake but it had been fixed.
Shortly after graduation Rick starts emailing my husband demanding the payment that we had paid in December (for an order a week before he claimed he didn’t have) in the local office. We were over charged and then threatened to be sent to collects for a payment we paid 6 months prior.
