DO NOT HIRE – Unreliable, Dishonest, and Unprofessional

I hired this person twice, and both experiences were terrible. The first job was to tear down a shed and remove trash. He charged $250 but only tore down the shed — likely because he could sell the materials — and left the rest undone.

I gave him a second chance, against my better judgment. I hired him again to mow, weed-eat, and take about 10–15 trash bags to the dump. He quoted $125 for mowing and a small fee for the trash, depending on the dump's entrance cost. He was unwilling to accommodate my schedule, even after I explained I had to work, and considered 9 a.m. “first thing in the morning.” He showed up late with no communication, and only responded after I called him.

Once he finally arrived, he wasted time parking and wandering around instead of getting started. His mowing was sloppy and inconsistent — jumping from one area to another, leaving several sections uncut. It looked like he was intentionally trying to waste time. His helper focused on blowing gravel outside my fence and ignored my back porch altogether, despite me saying clearly not to touch the front porch.

I showed them exactly what trash to take — all bagged and next to the cans. I specifically said do not take the washer on the porch because I had someone buying it for $500 that weekend. It was a $4,000 front-loader, Wi-Fi compatible washer — and they took it anyway. To make things worse, the next morning, I noticed my XXL elevated dog bed was gone too — another item that was not trash.

He then tried to raise the price to $550, and when I questioned him, he got aggressive over text and even tried to threaten my nonprofit. This man has zero integrity and seems to look for ways to exploit people.

I would never recommend him to anyone. If you value your property, time, and peace of mind — look elsewhere.

They have done all different jobs from designing, maintenance, plantings, rebuilding They are responsive, professional, polite, helpful and caring We use and will continue to use them Our situation is unique as it is our old family home in which some of my family still live and my husband and I own but live miles away Josh is always there for us I always encourage him to offer ideas or suggestions He doesn't try talking us into extras
