we returned to the property and flashed and caulked the area in front of chimney . however it appears  prior roofers did not adequately seal the shingles backside of chimney. as for the white caulking ,it is np1 and you cant exactly match existing shingle color hardly ever. we will return and...

try to better match caulking to shingle color if Mr [redacted] will allow us to and will promise not to annoy us with his snide  remarks  and keep his dogs from interfering with our work. thanks dale
