My a/c man took parts that were bad in my a/c condenser unit to be replaced under warranty. They charge ( him) but I have to eat it...a $75 handling fee. he never had that happen before and thinks rip off for the virus. I have a warranty that this company gets ALL their money back and I am sure makes a hefty profit, as they charged the parts, 1/3 of the cost of my entire A/c air handler and condenser that I paid at Budget heat and Air in Tampa. They sell but don't service or install. Goodman pays this place the money for it, so how can they charge such a high and FAKE fee? I want that money back whether they cancel it on the company card or send me a check. I want that money as Goodman pays them well I am sure since they are now the largest company for a/c.

WARRANTY COMPRESSOR HANDLING FEE 75.00 They said they charge it because the unit was not bought there. What has buying the entire unti got to do with a fee? IT ALL came from Goodman.

Refund I want GM Mechanical Services to be credited for the $75 so he credits me. I called GOODMAN in Houston Texas ( *** warranty dept.) and told them about this. They told me they had nothing to do with a handling fee, that they pay this company what they have charged and suggested I contact the Better Revdex.com as they never charge any fees and most companies do not charge fees. I say this is a scam to make more money. If a rating, I would give them a 1 for customer service
The Ware Group d/b/a Johnstone Supply is a wholesale distributor of HVAC product. We sell to the service industry. I gather by the complaint noted above that GM Mechanical Service was the contractor used by the end user. Although this a customer of our (GM Mechanical) we have zero control over what they charge the end user. I can tell you that if the end user purchased an extended warranty with her contractor then the labor is included with her warranty. Her complaint is with GM Mechanical, no our company.
