To Whom it May Concern; Mr. [redacted] called our shop on Friday April 8th as well as today April 11, 2016. On Friday he commented that we had "busted wires on the oxygen sensor and distributer, the oil pan was missing a bolt, the valve covers were filthy, it was...
filthy all over". "Looks like a wrench was never taken to the exhaust manifolds they are filthy'. The engine was "definately not cleaned up at all and it heated up and had an antifreeze leak. We told him to bring it up and we would see what was going on. He refused. Today he said we broke an accessory bracket but still won't bring it to our shop. Mr [redacted] had told us this vehicle had been sitting at least 8 months and that he had just purchased it. He provided many accessories which we installed at no charge. We made Mr. [redacted] aware he has a transmission problem (no 3rd gear or overdrive) as well as with the shifter, so we could not test drive it, but it ran fine in the shop. We also made him aware that it may need a crankshaft position sensor and the odometer was not working when he picked up the car on March 14.(written on his invoice.) We do not understand why Mr [redacted] does not want to bring it to us, to address the issues he stated. We did reiterate that we do not do car restorations and we use the original accessories which come on the car. We have not seen the vehicle since March 14, 2016. We will gladly honor our warranty (he was given a copy) but the vehicle needs to be brought back to us. Sincerely;Stephanie G[redacted]Pilot Engines, Inc.
