Johnson Truck Center

In July of 2018, the truck was brought in for an estimate and possible repair. The estimate, which I was charged for ($425.44) stated the issue was with the DEF/exhaust system totaling well over a thousand dollars. I decided to have a second opinion. Before getting it over to another repair shop, and having spoken with them, said it sounded more like an electrical problem. A friend who has worked on cars, took a look at it and found the problem to be a ground wire (clearly visible) that was not connected and an improperly sealed connector. Truck worked fine after making those repairs involving a knife and electrical tape. I went back to Johnson's Truck Center and they would not do a refund but offered a credit for the $425.44 instead. Which I agreed to.

Recently the truck was brought back in on a recall. When trying to apply the credit, I was told that the old service manager no longer worked there and they would not honor any credits done through him (they have no record of such agreement according the new sales manager).
