Failure to resolve furniture damage and carpet damage issue as well as response to customer service complaint.A master bedroom armoire and night stand were damaged during the delivery process as well as soiled foot prints on the stairway carpet between the first and second floor. We have submitted the requested information and photos but are still awaiting their evaluation. We offered to accept a refund of the insurance premium and get our own repairs done ourselves and I call once or twice a week but have heard nothing back from the claims dept. Additionally my wife was upset that the person taking inventory during the move kept placing his clipboard (which had rivets on the bottom) on easily scratched glass cooktop and leather furniture her concerns were dismissed with comment that a pot or pan was just as likely to cause a scratch, not a very customer service orientated response in a stressful situation.Desired SettlementRepair or replacement of furniture and carpeting or a refund of insurance premium.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/The moving company said they accepted my request for refund of my insurance premium but didn't get the info to me before I filed a complaint. I have received the refund and the matter is resolved.
