I contacted this company as I needed the front half of my tile roof redone. Mr. [redacted] came out and said he'd send me an estimate, which turned out to be reasonable. After talking to so many companies I became quite informed about roofing; not enough that I'd attempt to do it myself...hahaha
I emailed Mr. [redacted] twice with a few questions and never heard from him again. That isn't a good way to do business and the likelihood of me referring him is not at all.
A residential re-roof was completed on my home 05/18/05 by Let It Rain Roofing (company) and included a 10-year warranty against faulty workmanship. On 11/20/14 my son contacted the company to schedule an appointment for a company representative to come to my home and replace a missing shingle. Via text, my son conversed with a company representative who said âThatâs a desert tan shingle and Iâll be there tomorrow. Thereâs no excuse for that thing blowing up. Iâll fix it as a courtesy.â The company representative stated that he would be at my home at 10AM on 11/21/14 (which my son agreed to, via text).
On 11/21/14 at 10:20AM my son contacted the company to inquire as to when they may arrive to complete the repair. Immediately, the representative became hostile, used obscene and vulgar language, and was extremely rude against my sonâs inquiry. The representative further stated that he would not be able to make the appointment. My son told the company representative that the representativeâs response was completely inappropriate and he would not continue any further dialogue with the representative. Soon after, the company representative contacted my son, via text, and accused my son of getting ânastyâ with the representative. Then the company representative stated that he would have an employee repair the faulty workmanship on 11/24/14 between 12PM â 4PM. My son did not reply to the representativeâs text.
In summary, the company failed to keep its scheduled appointment and failed to contact my son prior to the appointment notifying my son that the representative would not be able to keep the appointment. The average consumer would expect this of any respectful company. When my son did contact the company (11/21/14 at 10:20AM), the representative failed to apologize for his actions and again was extremely belligerent. Our complaint is that Let It Rain Roofing delivers extremely poor and rude customer service in an unprofessional manner. The response from the company representative was aggressive and demonstrated that Let It Rain Roofing is not committed to the highest standards of business conduct.
I am not asking for any reimbursement or repair from this company on this issue. I would only like it to be known the type of business this company represents and the services it provides. Even if the company representative was having a âbad dayâ, this is no excuse for the representative to treat his customers in this manner.
