Review: Mr [redacted] gave us an estimate to move furniture from Port Hueneme to Los Angeles for $570We gave him a $25 deposit on December 21, 2014. He and two helpers moved the furniture on December 24 .The minute the job was over Mr [redacted] demanded under duress that we pay him cash immediately instead of by check.He also put us under duress to tip him and his workers, he said they deserved that since he was a drug rehabilitation counselor. Basically Nr, [redacted] tried to present his private business as a non profit business benefiting drug rehabilitation. It is our understanding that Mr. [redacted]'s moving business is a for profit business, totally unrelated to his drug rehabilitation activities, and that it is unethical to present the two in a bundled manner.When we asked for a receipt, Mr [redacted] said he would mail us one.Thats the last we heard from himMr. [redacted] has not replied to our emails and text messages asking for this receipt.All we ask for is for a receipt fr the $625 that we have given Mr. [redacted].We also ask him to stop presenting his moving business as related to his drug counseling activities, since this is incorrect.Desired Settlement: We ask a receipt for the sum paid to Mr [redacted]. We need this receipt to deduct the moving costs from our income taxes.Contacting the Revdex.com is our attempt to resolve this amicably. We hope Mr [redacted] realizes that all complaints to the Revdex.com are posted online forever.Should Mr [redacted] not provide this receipt, we will promptly file complaints with the contractors' licensing board, the IRS and the CA Attorney General.
