John and Bakke

This is a scam staffing company. They will call you to indicate that you have been short listed for a high paying job with a well known company and set up an interview for you with a fake person. The job will require a mandatory certification. They will direct you to a specific training site (edukasion.com) to pay for classes and they will have a coupon code for you to use. You will not get the job but will have paid for and wasted time with subpar training material (which is probably stolen itself).
Companies involved in this scam:
- John and Bakke Consulting (johnandbakke.com): Notice their address does not list suite or office number. Just a generic address to a large building in Boston, MA. Their website indicates they are 4 years old yet their domain was first created in April of 2020. *** has no records of this company at all.
- ***: Subpar training material that appears to have been ripped off from some other training site. Their corporate address on their website points to a residential address at *** maps indicates another business at this location by the name of ***.
- *** (***): Is listed as an international education organization. Boston phone number listed on their website is invalid and *** link is also invalid.
So, it appears a group of people providing some level of training has created a fake staffing company as a front (I am sure there are more than 1) to funnel people to these classes/certifications in order to get a job that does not exist.
