malfunctioned for any reason it would not be our responsibility. His car right now has 192k miles on it. He wanted to talk to his wife about and and they approved it . We installed the converter and the car passed inspection. He wife was very happy when she came and picked it up and paid me by credit card. Then he called me back because he said he was hearing a rattle noise. I told him to come down and we will take it for a ride. I did not hear the noise. I put it on the lift. He said there were no clamps, but there were, there was one that was rusted and loose, so I put another one on. This car is rusted underneath because of the age and the horrible winter we had, salt and snow which had made it worse. . Then he says to me that this looks like the old converter. Sensors are his, we did not replace them, they were not needed. He called the next day asking for proof that I purchased a new converter. I gave him a copy. There is no engine light on. This has passed inspection. This is a new catalytic converter installed. And I did not charge him for a new clamp. If anything happens we stand by our warranty.
