checks.  This customer calls the restaurant asking to speak to a manager daily, always asking the same questions, "Can you hold a check for me?" - against company policy, or "How many of my checks do you have?" - we see it as his duty to keep track of this number, not us.  Our office is ran from our home, sometimes we are not able to leave the restaurant to answer his questions.  When we receive checks from a customer we try to deposit them within 2-3 business days, although that is not a guarantee.  If this problem persists, we will refuse to accept checks as payment.  We do accept cash, credit, or debit.
