Went to JN Chevorlet to purchase a Chevy Colorado using my USAA certificate instead of honoring it (receiving the invoice price) the fleet manager, Billy, said he would charge me $1000 over the MSRP since I was ordering the vehicle versus buying from their existing inventory showcased on their lot. After speaking to another representative, he agreed to sell me a (close to what I wanted) vehicle for $500 under MSRP but I had to wait 90 days because it was being shipped in. I reluctantly agreed and paid a deposit of $500 to reserve my vehicle. Approximately 2 1/2 months later and after calling JN Chevy several times to follow up on the status of my shipped vehicle, Billy calls me to tell me the truck isn't mine. They inadvertently had it reserved for someone else. He precedes to tell me I can put my deposit down on another truck or get a refund. I asked him why it took so long for them to realize they gave my truck to someone else when I called them a few times before to check on the status and I placed a deposit so this wouldn't happen. He says it happens. I did get my deposit back after dealing with them several more times. I took my business to Servco Waipahu and Ricky ordered my truck, gave me a tracking number and honored the USAA certificate with no hassle.
I'd like others to know this company was unprofessional, dishonest, offered over inflated prices, and didn’t honor the USAA certificate; so be very careful if you decide to deal with them.
