Review: JMS was hired and paid to do an inspection of the home located at [redacted] before we purchased it. Based on JMS's inspection report , the previous owner repaired the items reported by JMS and we purchased the home on April 30, 2015. After the purchase we tore out the carpeting to replace it with flooring and there was water damage/dry rot to the floor that went from the master bath into the master bedroom. Our handyman noticed bumps on the floor where the nails are protruding into the linoleum floor. he then went under the house and there was obvious calcium/water damage to the insulation and on the plastic on the floor of the crawlspace. We turned the shower on to see if or where it was leaking from, water just ran straight through the drain area, through the insulation, to the ground. The box is checked on the report that he did inspect the crawl space but there is no comment about anything abnormal under the house. it is obvious that this so called inspector did not inspect the crawl space or attic which is costing us thousands of dollars because of his negligence.Desired Settlement: I would like JMS to pay to fix dry rot and replace everything that will have to be torn out and replaced because of the dry rot in both bathrooms, and anything that is wrong in the crawlspace and attic that he failed to inspect.
