Review: I purchased a 2003 [redacted] from the "[redacted] dealer January 2012.
I was to pay $160 every two weeks.
I have had some health issues in the past but we worked the payment out. I drive for a living and if my CDL license is suspended due to illness, I cannot work.
In August of 2013 I asked if I could pay monthly. I was told OK by the office staff, I believe her name was Jennie. (She has been fired)
From August 2013 to April 2014 I paid monthly. Nobody said anything at all, I called my payment in using my [redacted] as a receipt. I came into the office in September 2014 and was told I am supposed to pay every two weeks and that interest has been accumulating every month and that I was supposed to sign a new contract. I was not told of this.
I eventually signed another contract and an extra $27 was added onto my payment.
I keep asking the owner Joe and his wife Karen why I have to pay for their office mistake? Joe stated that they hire young girls with children paying them $10 an hour and that they're not too experienced, he's just giving them a job. This was because I questioned his office professionalism.
He posted in the computer that he would deduct $500 for the mistake and printed out my payment schedule and wrote on the paper to deduct the $500 dollars, I believe he signed it too.
Between Joe and Karen I cannot get a response on how much interest accumulated during the 8 months.
The wife Karen says I owe $3400.00, that is without the $500 deduction.
I believe the car would have been paid for if not for all the interest.
On 3/10/15 I signed the bill of sale in the office, I am at this moment waiting for their tow truck to arrive and get the car.
Been waiting since 5pm today for pickup, office is closed now.
When you purchase a car, they also make you pay for the tracking system just in case you skip off with the car, should that be paid by the company to protect their merchandise?Desired Settlement: I just don't want to be cheated because of their mistake, by not training their office staff.
I want to know how much interest accrued during the 8 months.
I want to know if the $3400. owed is due to the added interest.
I want to clear my bill with them and would like any bogus money amounts, if any returned to me.
