Review: This company is falsly claiming and advertising that they are licensed general contractors which they are not either. They did let me know that they did not have a license to do my electrical so they were going to subcontract a licensed electrical tradesman to do that portion of my work. They only gave me a first name of [redacted]. This person, I believe, was made up. I have never seen that person at my home the entire 6 months they were working and if he were there and licensed, he needs to be revoked. The reason for my claim is that there were at least 150 illegal electrical splices throughout my whole house (code violation); the feeders from the meter in conduit was incorrect and a code violation; wrong wire for range was used (code violation); and ground wires were cut and removed at the breaker box (another code violation). I have hired a licensed electrician to completely remove all new wiring that J&J had just installed and do everything correctly so that the house would not burn down. The new electrician and the building inspector have told me that it was just a matter of time; that it's not IF the house would burn, but WHEN. The house was made unfit to live in; obviously this is a health issue; nobody wants to live in a home they know will burn.Desired Settlement: $5,500 is the amount that I have had to pay the new electrician to fix the faulty work. Also, I do not want these guys (Jason Huff and James Rose) to be able to do electrical work for anyone any more because they are not qualified and they need to stop advertising that they are licensed and insured until do get licensed and insured.False advertising and extremely faulty (and fraudulent) work.
