Jireh & Twins Contractors

On 07/15/2020 Carlos L of Jireh and Twins Contractors LLC. agreed to pressure wash my entire house, scrape and prep, and paint the boxing and soffit white. I also spoke directly to him regarding paint chips being left behind and how this was a concern. He assured me would not be an issue. Mr. L suggested painting the gutters as well. I initially agree and the price was $2500. After speaking with Shane A of* a personal friend and painter for more than 20 yrs he said do not paint gutters as they are not in need and then will have to continue to paint. I text Mr. L on 07/18 to let him know I did not want the gutters painted when they started the job 07/20. Mr. L arrived at the house Monday 07/20 and I spoke to him in person. Told him I did not want gutters painted. He said OK, I asked for a reduced price, he offered $2250, I countered with $2000, we settled on $2100. They started pressure washing that afternoon. On 07/23 I arrived home after work and Mr L and his crew were gone. They had started repainting and I noticed they had painted the gutters as well. Exactly as I asked him not to. I called Mr. L immediately to voice my frustration. He tried to say the gutters needed painting, and then said they had been painted before, which they had not, and then finally said he would see what he could do. I gave options of stripping the gutters or replacing them. He then text saying he had contacted 3 gutter companies and it would be 3 weeks before they could do the job. I met him at my house Friday 07/24 at lunch as they were picking up ladders and I discussed what needed to be done. He was very upset and continued to put the blame for the issue on me, not him or his crew. He told me they would come to measure for gutters on Monday 07/27. I called this morning 07/27 and text to find out when they would arrive. Mr. L called back and said he had lost enough money on my project already and he was not doing anything else.
