Review: They came out and eventually fixed the problem with our dishwasher after 2 previous attempts. So this problem was actually resolved. Our complaint is that they damaged our hardwood floor. We called them on this problem, they assured us it was not a problem, their insurance company would take care of it. We never heard from them again. We called back, same reply. No response. We called 4 or 5 more times, the same answer, we would be hearing fromm their insurance company. Up until today we are still waiting for this problem to be taken care of. The damage was done on November 6th 2014.Desired Settlement: We would like the damaged hardwood floor to be compensated.
Review: I called Jimmy Z Appliance Services around the Sept 20, 2012 for a service call to check a washer and a dishwasher. I was quoted a service call fee of $90. I authorize the service call and since I was out of town I authorized them to charge my credit car $90. When the serviceman came my mother home. The service person did not give her a bill. They put a charge of $186.16 on my credit card. I have been calling them for months to refund me the rest. They have refused, although they have acknowledged the charge was wrong and should have been $90. The last conversation I had with them was on 28 March 2013. I asked the manager to get back to me no later than the end of business on on 29 March. He/She did not. Two other issues of importance: During my last conversation on 28 March they told me their charges should have been $133. That was the first time I heard that fee. Their explanation was that the serviceman looked at two appliances. At no time during my initial call and all subsequent calls for months was I ever told a $133 fee. In any case, the diagnosis of the dishwasher by the serviceman was wrong. He said we had to change the motor/pump in the dishwasher. The dishwasher did not need a new motor/pump, I fixed it myself by snapping into place the spray arm, that was all that was needed.Desired Settlement: I'd like to be refunded $96.16 (186.16 less 90)

On 9-25-13 the customer called and requested two estimates for repair of a dishwasher and a washing machine. Customer was explained that we do a free estimate WITH REPAIR otherwise it is a service fee of 85 (93.08 with tax) for the first appliance and 35 (38.33 with tax) for the second appliance. Customer agreed and a technician was sent out. The customer was out of town and had his mom on site. Over the phone the technician gave the amounts of the estimates to the customer, the customer approved repair cost with a deposit of 186.16 for repair over the phone with a credit card. That same day the customer called back and wanted to cancel repairs and only wanted to pay the service fee. In return we would refund his card the difference 186.16 - 131.41= 54.76. The customer called back and said he never agreed to pay the service fee and was never told there was a charge for a second appliance. The customer said he would dispute all charges with his credit card company so a refund of the difference was never done. All of our customers are aware of our service fee immediately when they call it is the first thing explained before we get any information. We have received notice from his credit card company that he is disputing all charges. We are willing to refund the customer 54.76 and only charge the service fee of 131.41 for the estimates given for two appliances.
