the most likely cause of this damage is the person removing the oil filter did not do so at the base of filter causing it to be damaged upon removalthe person removing this filter caused the damage not jiffy lube therefore we are not responsible for such things as we lube every filter gasket
before we install it that is our process and therefore we do not accept responsibility,
