Jiffy Lube #777

Review: I took my car in to get an Oil change service on or about Dec 2012 for my vehicle, Subaru Tribeca. After getting my vehicle back, I noticed that my GPS Navigation system was missing from my vehicle. I first contacted Jiffy Lube in January as a result of this issue. Then manager on duty ([redacted]) was very helpful and promised that his immediate supervisor ([redacted]) would contact me. He explained that they take these matters seriously and that a surveillance camera could be reviewed to see if any employee took the property from my vehicle. I was never contacted by anyone. I made several more attempts to contact a higher level supervisor; approximately 3 calls and 1 in person visit to [redacted] - I did not document specific dates b/c I felt reassured that follow up would take place. I again spoke with the same employee who was very apologetic that his supervisor ([redacted]) did not follow up with me. My last attempt was my fiance going into Jiffy Lube to address the issue in May 2013. Again, two employees acknowledged their policy of what should have taken place (supervisor contacting me, video surveillance cameras reviewed, etc). I am filing this complaint because the Jiffy Lube indicated what action they would take, but they still have failed to follow through.Desired Settlement: Outcome desired for the Jiffy Lube to conduct a thorough review of their policy and follow through with review of the surveillance tapes. Also, to receive a courtesy call from supervisor of [redacted], explaining why he failed to follow through on Jiffy Lube's policy as explained to me by employee [redacted]. If such recordings no longer are on file, then I would expect to be compensated for the GPS that remains missing. Thank you.
