Review: Did not properly complete work on our property in Ocean City, New Jersey. This was repair work caused by damage from hurricane Sandy.I had inspected his work while in progress, but had not done a final inspection since I live in PA and could not make it to the shore before he asked for payment.I paid in full, but mentioned there were unresolved issues that would need work.We had, I thought, a good relationship, since he showed interest in performing more work for me in the near future. Because of this relationship, I paid in full to show my trust that any unresolved issues with his work would be corrected.Wow, was I wrong. He failed to repair the unsatisfactory work that I had told him about when I paid him and failed to repair work that was unacceptable when I did my final inspection. He has not responded to my many emails and phone calls. I have waited almost two months for any response. The work I am asking him to complete has an estimated value of about $350.00. I want the work done or a refund so that I can have someone else do the work. That is, in fact my preferred settlement, since I no longer can trust this dishonest businessman. Since we paid more than $8000.00 to have this work performed, I think my request is very reasonable.Desired Settlement: I would like the unacceptable work completed or a refund of $350.00 preferably. Details:1. Caulk the 3/4 inch hole at the top corner of the back door.2. Weather stripping at the bottom of the back door needs adjustment or replacement - there is a gap.3. Old nail holes from the previous door need to be caulked.4. The latch on the shower door does not work and was not the proper latch for privacy issues. It needs to be replaced since there is no way to lock the door from the inside.
