Jen's Daycare at the Learning Depot

The $200 non-refundable deposit in question was collected to hold a spot in the daycare.  The family filing the complaint was aware that the deposit was non-refundable as they were given a contract.  Our daycare held the spot open for several weeks based on the agreement that the family...

would use the daycare.  Their circumstances changed and they decided not to follow through with their agreement.  We are happy that they found free childcare, as it was a great opportunity for them.  We know how hard it is financially to raise children, so we agreed to make an exception and refund their deposit even though the lost revenue for holding that spot far exceeded the deposit amount.  We are sorry they didn't feel like we sent the refund quickly enough, but we have mailed the check in the amount of $200.  It should arrive within a few days.  We hope this resolves matter.   Jennifer C[redacted] Director The Learning Depot
