We reserved a cabin with use of pool/lake beach for July 4th weekend. We called to cancel due to no water features opening per the Gov of KY and was told they were giving refunds but have run out of money and can't give any more refunds. I paid money, they should have that money. They can't give me every amenity I paid for and I am due a TIMELY refund; not a credit on the books. If everyone got credit, I would be fine with it, but half of the cabin rentals were refunded, the other half were not. We, as well as anyone who cancels, deserves a refund!
The guest got a 100% refund. It took 2 weeks after her request for us to write the check. How long it took USPS to deliver I do not know; we have MANY documented instances of 30 days plus for delivery of the refund checks. Covid drained our resources with over 500 cancellation and refund requests. Let’s just say she was overdemanding.
