Began emergency service on outdoor spa was told parts needed to be ordered and despite multiple phone calls no one ever came back .company began an emergency service on outdoor spa in late January of this year. Serviceman came on several occasions and assured me that the spa could be repaired. I inquired several times if the spa should be winterized and repaired in the warmer months to avoid the possibility of freezing. I was assured that the repair would be completed and that no preventative measures were required. After the service call and repeated unanswered phone calls and e-mail the spa emptied in sub-zero conditions. I have hired another company to assess the damage to the spa and have been told that, as a direct result of the I completed work, the spa has sustained serious freeze damage. I wrote the owner of this company to come to an agreeable resolution and was never contacted.Desired SettlementI would ask for all costs of repair and replacement parts . A comparable replacement spa if damage cannot be sufficiently repaired .Business Response With all due respect- nobody from this company has or wouldtell a customer to keep water in the spa during the winterknowing that it could freeze.[redacted]Jelly Belly's Pools & SpasConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The complaint was not addressed. The service was begun and abandoned. The service person began service, he replaced a part that I am confident can be traced to the offending company, and never returned despite many unanswered phone calls and e-mail messages. The response is from a person with no knowledge of the communication between myself and the serviceperson. The damage was directly caused by the incomplete repair.Final Business Response The service tech, Keith, is no longer with the company. Any work done before he left was complete. Any different service matter after he left would not have been addressed. We are willing to address whatever further problems the tub may have at a reasonable rate.Thank you,[redacted]
