February 27, 2018To whom it may concern:I am writing in response to the attached complaint by [redacted] There was a thorough investigation into this and it was determined that the visit was billed correctlyWith the Urgent care visits, the insurance company requires one encompassing cpt code for the entire visit and care which includes the vitals taken, medication given and the examination and plan of care from the physicianThe entire charge for this visit was determined to be $The amount owed by the patient was applied to his deductible by his insurance company and unfortunately cannot be discounted or reduced.I hope I have been helpful in clearing up this matter.Sincerely,Diane B.Manager
