To whom it may concern,The first inkling that a complaint was filed against Go-Green Events was yesterday (11/16/15)I was notified via phone that a letter was mailed at some point in the past to a former business addressThe phone call was apparently a follto that letterAt no time was
there are "failure to respond." The complaint was in reference to an event cancelled by *** State Park.Go-Green Events is an intermediary that collects money for businesses, charities and other organizations from those groups' clientsGo-Green Events services more than 1,events annuallyAt no point is the money "owned" or otherwise controlled by Go-Green EventsThe money is held in trust until paid back to the clients or otherwise distributed, but always at the owner's direction.When the *** *** Half Marathon was cancelled in early September, we were unable to process refunds until we were not only properly authorized to do so, but also paid for services already rendered.After the event director cancelled the event Sept15,, there was no further communication from him until approximately NovAt that point refunds had already been made as Go-Green Events decided to take a loss in order to have race participants fully compensated.In the meantime, Ms*** had accused Go-Green Events of theft, fraud and other malpractice even after being apprised of the financial situation and the lack of instructions from the event director.Sincerely,*** ***Go-Green Events
