Review: Told the $15,000.00 job of the installation of a split mini AC units would take 3 days, took 5 days. Paid job in full 8/5/15 & informed Susan that a blind was broken & a vegetable plant was destroyed. Said she would report it. The helper asked my 87 yr.old mother, who has dementia, if he could "have" the portable AC unit that cost $317.00. On 8/8/15, Saturday, the unit in my bedroom was leaking water. Called JED, repairman asked if I wanted him to come out. When he arrived he informed me that the only ladder long enough to reach the unit from the outside was at the home of a worker in Greensburg, PA. He wanted me to wait until Monday or Tuesday to get it fixed. Someone else came to help him & from my window, pulled the drain pipe & had it drip water down the house. On 8/10/15 the drain pipe had been reconnected, but there was water everywhere on my dresser. My 1930 vintage waterfall dresser is ruined from water damage, jewelry box ruined,makeup bag filled with water, water inside all drawers where my clothes were saturated. Called JED, talked to Jacob about the damage & he said he would "report" it. Cleaned up the mess & did what 1st guy did, I turned on the dehumidifier to dry everything. Two hrs. later there was water everywhere on the dresser, the floor, etc. Called JED again & got answering service who was kind & said she would report it immediately. Jacob went home. 15 min. later someone called from JED & asked if I can wait until tomorrow since their only ladder is back in Greensburg for the night. I told the man that the Greensburg worker needs to come out to fix their mess. He said he couldn't do that. I told him I was going to contact the Revdex.com about this who situation and hung up the phone. This will be the fourth attempt to get one unit working properly and I am still waiting for someone to contact me regarding the first damage report regarding the plant and blind that was reported on 8/5/15.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for all damages and frustration; fix the unit correctly.
