I agreed with the price he quoted and he came out to attempt to do the work. He was successful at removing the trees but only ground the stumps down enough to make enough chips that he could rake the chips over the stumps to hide them. He took my money and left. The next day I cleaned up the wood chips from the “ground” stumps only to find they were as much as 3”-4” ABOVE ground level, not the 3”-4” below the ground so I could fill in the holes with topsoil and put grass seed down. I called him weekly for the next month to finish grinding the stumps and he promises every time, “I’ll be out this week and take care of it” but never shows up. The last time I called him he told me “if someone did as poor of a job for me as I did you, I guess I’d be upset too” but still he won’t come out and finish the work I paid him to do. He blames his worker or equipment but HE is the real problem.
When I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau I found that this is how he usually works. He starts a job and as soon as he gets the money, he’s gone, never finishing the work he was paid for. He is the most corrupt, morally dishonest person I’ve ever dealt with.
On top of this, he quoted removing 2 trees and one blown down limb for the neighbor next door, a widow on a fixed income. He said ``no problem”, quoted her a price and she agreed to his price. He took down the 2 trees but decided he didn’t want to mess with the blown down limb that she was worried about falling on her while she mowed. She asked him what that would change his price to since he quoted the 3 items and only did 2 of them. He told her the price for the 2 items was the same as doing all 3 and told her that if she was worried about the limb falling while she was mowing, to “mow real fast past it”! As I said, he is the most corrupt, morally dishonest person I’ve ever dealt with.
It’s too bad, Justin has the opportunity to create a good business for him and his family but his desire to screw people who hire him will never let the business prosper. He asked me before he started on my trees to “give him an honest review” after the work was done. Unlike him, I keep my promises…
Received a call from Jason, returning a call I never made, I checked to make sure I didn't butt dial a 7 digit number. I wanted him to know I was not the person who called so he could contact the right person. He literally cussed me out and told me he could *** prove I called him. I did not, had no reason to and was just trying to help him out by returning his call. Super rude man.
Took $13300 of $1500 quoted. Did only 50% of work. It's been 4 months..tree still not down.more excuses than a porcupine has quills
Stared Job May 1t, 2019. 50% done. Now has been 4 months. September 19, ..he has $1300 paid to him. Just want job completion. Or money back.
Just w6 job completion or money refund
Good morning,
First. I would like to thank you for your fast response to my complaint.
Next. I had some difficulty with your form on my android phone. I would like to correct some data. I paid Justin $ 1,300.oo of $ 1500.oo not $ 13,300..typo.
I also couldn't scroll over to Senior box to check off. I am 64.5 years old and I am collecting Social security.
Lastly, Justin did contact me on Friday ,September 20th.
He was upset that I filed a complaint and said he would be out on September 21st to take down the tree. I agreed to withdraw my complaint when the tree was down.
They never showed up or even called.
It's been over a week now.
I assume he has until October 4th to resolve the issue. I will wait to check on my status that day.
Thank you for your help.

One last question.
Does the Revdex.com have a copy of his buisness license and proof of insurance?
Thank you

Thank you,
Would you recommend going to court now?
Contact licensing government officials?
IRS?
Thank you

to Better
I guess they are not responding.
My next step is most likely to go to court and sue as well as contacting the IRS.
Hired company May 13th paid $600 of $1200 up front, 4 weeks later and job not 1/2 way finished. I have many emails back and forth and texts.
I hired Friday, May 13 of 2010 And after they did a quarter of trimming the top left side of the tree they left about an hour and a half later and wanted half down for the job. I explained that wasn't the agreement that we had it was complete the job for $1200 and they would be paid after the job was completed. JD gave me a sad story if they were going up north for memorial day weekend and that he would return on Tuesday after memorial day which I believe is May 17 and they never called or showed up. I believe it was the following Friday after many calls on answered text emails that I basically said on Friday that they had until 5 PM to finish on the following Wednesday or I would file in the ***,In court. The Monday before Wednesday that they had until 5 pm they came back to finish not even half the job and just started cutting branches which tore up my entire yard which I have many pictures. After cutting down branches they found that we had a redheaded woodpecker nest in the tree so we had to stop and contact the *** in which we did. Whoever he contacted at *** said that we could not do anything with the tree for three weeks and we left the nest alone. After that he accused me of sending him an email that said it had to be done by that Wednesday by 5 pm which I had sent the previous Friday before and he was trying to use that as I was threatening him to cut the tree down after *** said to leave it for three weeks. He has tried everything in the book not to complete the job and even wanted another $300 on the Monday they came out and did another 1/4 of the job. I told them when the job is completed with stump gridded, they would get paid. He was not happy. I contacted the *** last Tuesday and sent pictures and video and I have a letter from top *** - *** saying the tree can come down ASAP due to birds would not come back to tree. He also stated that JD had no clue on any info about waiting 3 weeks or until Spring to finish the job. I have all emails and texts showing all of this. The last communication wit him was I think Thursday of last week that basically left it as when the job was complete, he'd get paid. We said that's how it's gonna be. ( That conversation was with my wife due to my willingness not to talk to him any further ) He got really irate cussing with my wife on the phone and he basically said that he was putting a lien on our house which we had no contract but a verbal and he said that's all he was going to do and we said do what you gotta do and we will take our legal action. Phone call was ended by us hanging up due to screaming. We still have a 35' tree in the yard.
I would like $300 of the $600 back that we paid him to do 1/4 of the job. There are 8-10 holes in my backyard that I had to refill with topsoil and grass seed that I had to buy. They did try to put about 2 bags of topsoil in 8-10 holes in which didn't fill the holes 1/4. I posted No Trespassing signs at my house for them.
Charged us $650 cash on a Saturday. Arrived two hours late, the two workers worked for less than three hours and the job they did was extremely insufficient. They were hired to clean up the yard and left leaves and debris. They refused to provide a receipt which was needed to bill an estate when asked daily for a week following. JD was rude and promised daily to provide the needed receipt but never delivered. He texted that "we have an a+ rating for the Revdex.com plus their protection". A total lie!
8/22/Justin Landis (a friends suggested him from his Facebook ad) for me to get quote from to brush hog my horse field. I called, he came right out, and we walked the field with my daughter in tow (she is 36 years ) anyway, he started talking that I would need fill dirt, because my horse dig a hole by gate and machine would not be able to get in. I said I needed some River run (clay, rock and dirt) I have gotten it before. I asked how much dirt would I need, he said at least 17 yards, maybe two extra for the gate area. I wanted some to put under a building we were setting up. I asked for a price to bring the dirt and brush hog two fields. She said $1100.00. I said that is beon my price range, I then asked how much for the dirt. He said $400.00 and he would have it delieved the next day. I paid the $400.00 ( he was in a hury to go fishing) then the next morning I was at work, he sent a picture of what looked to be three piles of dirt, which sounded right, I have brought it before and 17 yards is about three five yard dump trucks full. I got home and only one pile of dirt'? I called, and he said that its been filtered ? and that costs more and he meant to say $400.00 for 17 tons, not Yards. But he said Yards
He asked what would make me happy (I do have this in writing)
I said I need a bill, Itemized to tell me what he brought me (dirt) and how much I was charged for delievery. Then if he felt that he didn't bring me what was promised (17 yards) he could bring that to my house.
So I want a bill Itemized and then the amount of dirt we agree on
Product_Or_Service: river run, dirt, its clay, rock, dirt
Finish the job I would like a Itemized Bill for what was brought to me and the delivery charged and the amount of dirt we agree on and I paid for
